Commuter Connection PA

Transit

SEPTA is the country’s 6th largest public transportation system by ridership and 5th largest overall system.  With nearly 200 individual routes, SEPTA goes almost everywhere in the Philadelphia region – making it an excellent way to get to and from work everyday. Thanks to the work by groups such as the Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia, SEPTA has become increasingly bicycle friendly – making it an excellent resource for multi-modal commuters.  Every bus in the city is now equipped with bicycle racks, more stations are gaining bicycle racks, and bicycles can now be brought on nearly all SEPTA vehicles during off-peak hours.  New tools let you order transit passes online, plan trips, track vehicles and get updates on service changes – making it easier than ever to plan your commute.
