Commuter Connection PA

For Employers

If your company is located in Norristown or South West Philadelphia, Commuter Connection PA would like to work with you to increase employee productivity, decrease sick days, and highlight your company’s commitment to sustainability.

Commuter Connection works with area employers to promote more sustainable transportation solutions, including bicycle, public transit and multi-modal transit options for their daily commute.   At no cost, Commuter Connection works with businesses to educate employees about “green” transit alternatives and their benefits through on-site outreach, and online and social media campaigns.  Through Commuter Connection, employees are connected to print and digital media that provide resources for making the switch from automobile-dependent commuting to alternative transportation.  These resources include specially designed commuting maps; guides on everything from bike locks to bus stops; tips on how to simplify and streamline their commute; and provide regular updates via blogs and social media.  Commuter Connection staff work with employees to pick the best biking or biking-public transit routes to work.

Commuter Connection is provided as a free service to businesses in Southwest Philadelphia and Norristown.  Businesses need only be willing to provide time and space for meeting with employees for the initial outreach and will need to select a point person to facilitate communication between employees and Commuter Connection staff.
